On April 26, the company group held a special seminar on “Spending money with a mindset of making money” Members of the leadership team and department heads of the Heavy Equipment Group attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Li Aijun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board, pointed out in his keynote speech thaat in the current complex and changing economic environment, the company faces many challenges, such as shrinking market demand, fierce competition, and accelerated technological iteration. Party members, cadres, and employees must adhere to market principles and focus on calculating the economic benefits of investment returns, efficiency, and value growth in project planning, production and operations, and technological innovation.
Company leadership emphasized that the first step is to adopt a spending money with a mindset of making money, which requires a shift in thinking. We must transition from being “good at spending money” to being “good at making money,” further optimizing cost management and improving efficiency, and adopting a “profit-driven” mindset when spending money. Through specialized process research, optimization and upgrading of technical standards, design improvements, and breakthroughs in key process technologies, we should effectively enhance product reliability and stability, continuously expand external market share, and form a mutually reinforcing relationship between overseas market orders and the domestic market to effectively address the challenges posed by market contraction.
Second, "Spending money with a mindset of making money", which needs us accurately define our positioning. We must possess forward-looking market analysis capabilities and proactively pursue technological and product innovation. Centering on the development of the “three major industries,” we will adhere to the principle of “producing one generation, researching the next generation, and reserving the following generation.” Through improving innovation mechanisms, increasing R&D investment, enhancing the weight of scientific and technological performance evaluations, leveraging the role of incubation centers, strengthening external exchanges and cooperation, tackling key technological challenges, and breaking through key projects, we will provide users with products that exceed their expectations. Simultaneously, through measures such as optimizing market services and strengthening brand promotion, we will transition from “single-product supply” to “industrial synergy,” and from “selling products” to “solving problems,” offering customized products and differentiated solutions to continuously enhance customer loyalty and brand premium value.
Thirdly, a spending money with a mindset of making money, which needs us focuse on precise and targeted efforts. We must implement tailored strategies for “existing assets” and “new investments” to truly activate and optimize asset utilization, continuously improving the quality and efficiency of enterprise development. We must accelerate the advancement of new investment projects, promote the swift implementation of the Tongchuan Coal Machinery Phase II project, further enhance the production capacity of hydraulic support products and advanced intelligent manufacturing capabilities, and support the high-quality development of heavy equipment manufacturing.
Members of the Heavy Equipment Group's leadership team and department heads analyzed the necessity and rationality of various corporate expenditures based on actual conditions, considered how to evaluate expense outlays from an investment return perspective, and explored how to optimize resource allocation using a “profit-driven” mindset. They demonstrated the deep logical connection between “spending money” and “making money,” promoting the integration of the “four business philosophies” with core operations, and ensuring that these principles are internalized and effectively implemented.
